Company overview
Ascento builds autonomous, all-terrain security robots equipped with AI-powered vision and analysis capabilities to monitor and protect large-scale private properties. Its flagship product, the Ascento Guard 2.0, is engineered to detect anomalies across manufacturing sites, data centers, energy plants, and more—monitoring for perimeter breaches, thermal irregularities, open doors, parked vehicles, and other safety or security risks. The Guard features RGB, thermal, and infrared cameras, built-in spotlights, and autonomous charging for up to eight hours of operation. Its app-based management software allows remote control, live encrypted video feeds, patrol scheduling, and integration with third-party video and facility systems. With robust edge-case handling and the ability to operate in harsh weather or off-road terrain, Ascento offers a reliable, data-rich approach to modern site security.
Ascento offers its platform as a comprehensive robotics-as-a-service (RaaS) solution. Clients subscribe to the Guard robot system without the need for capital expenditure, receiving a full-service package that includes training, onboarding, remote access to live robot operations, software integrations, guaranteed uptime, and 24/7 support. The hardware and software are bundled under one contract, enabling rapid deployment—typically within hours—and immediate security benefits. Ascento’s RaaS model allows customers to scale their robotic security presence on demand, replacing or supplementing traditional guards with hourly-rented robotic patrols optimized for outdoor monitoring and automated visual inspection.
“We designed our RaaS model to remove friction from robotic adoption,” said Alessandro Morra, CEO and co-founder of Ascento. “Security leaders need fast results and flexible tools—not complex deployments or ballooning costs. By offering an all-in-one subscription, we’re helping them level up their operations with intelligence, agility, and zero compromise on safety.”
