Caja by Fives

Caja Robotics (aka Caja by Fives) delivers a full-stack goods-to-person fulfillment system built around its own robots, workstations, and cloud-native control software. The system uses two specialized robots—Skyler, a high-reach robot capable of accessing shelves up to ~5.3 meters, and Cart, a fast horizontal transport robot—to move Eurobox bins between storage and configurable Pack-Check workstations. These stations support eCommerce unit picking, retail bulk picking, and hybrid omnichannel flows, while replenishment, returns, and bin-consolidation stations sustain continuous inventory optimization. At the core is Caja’s proprietary cloud software, which orchestrates nearly all warehouse activity through advanced algorithms, including 4D Nav multi-robot routing, swarm management, SKU clustering, demand prediction, and end-to-end order optimization. The platform also includes a full emulation environment that models warehouse performance before deployment.

Caja operates a hybrid commercial model that blends CapEx hardware with recurring software and services. Customers purchase robots, workstations, and infrastructure as CapEx, while Caja’s cloud-based software, optimization engine, and ongoing orchestration of warehouse operations are delivered as recurring service agreements. Deployments are delivered as project implementations that integrate Caja hardware and WMS connections into existing facilities, followed by continuous cloud control of fleet management, navigation, order allocation, and warehouse optimization. The result is a system in which hardware is bought upfront, and long-term performance is sustained through recurring software and optimization services.
