Company overview
Daxbot builds human-friendly autonomous robots designed for real-world public spaces. The company’s platform is powered by DaxOS, a proprietary operating system that enables precise navigation, ADA sidewalk assessment, neighborhood patrolling, community interaction, and real-time data capture. Hardware and software are tightly integrated: the robots run perception and mapping locally while offloading analytics, reporting, and mission management to the cloud. In security deployments, Daxbot units perform scheduled patrols, respond to incidents, and stream video to human supervisors. In accessibility applications, they capture centimeter-level sidewalk measurements and generate standardized ADA compliance reports. Across both domains, the robots emphasize approachability, safety, and consistent performance without human intervention.
Daxbot operates a true robots-as-a-service (RaaS) model. Instead of purchasing hardware outright, customers subscribe to the robot as a bundled service that includes the physical unit, DaxOS software, maintenance, updates, monitoring, and support. Pricing is structured as a monthly or annual fee—for example, security patrols can be delivered as an eight-hour-per-day service billed at a fixed monthly rate. This structure removes the need for large upfront capital expenditure and ensures customers always run the latest hardware and software versions. The subscription model also aligns with municipal and enterprise needs for predictable budgeting, rapid deployment, and evolving capabilities over time.
