Company overview
Eko Health builds digital and ECG-enabled stethoscopes—the CORE 500 and the 3M Littmann CORE—that pair proprietary audio and ECG hardware with AI-powered software for cardiac and pulmonary screening. The devices provide amplified heart and lung sounds, visual waveforms, and real-time digital signal processing, with the CORE 500 offering 3-lead ECG (three simultaneous electrical views of the heart), 8x sound improvement, and waveform visualizations; and the Littmann model offering up to 40x sound amplification for clearer assessments. Through the Eko app and cloud platform, clinicians can access FDA-cleared AI that detects murmurs, atrial fibrillation, and low ejection fraction, along with data storage, remote streaming, and electronic health record (EHR) integrations. The system supports use across in-clinic exams, telehealth visits, and continuous monitoring programs.
The company uses a hybrid CapEx + subscription model. Hardware is purchased upfront, with the CORE 500 digital stethoscope priced around $450-$500 depending on configuration. Advanced AI capabilities, workflow tools, and cloud data management are delivered through Eko’s subscription offering, Eko+, which is priced at $12.99/month or $119.99/year. This model lets clinicians and health systems own the devices while subscribing to the software layers that enable automated disease detection, care coordination, and scalable diagnostic programs.
“Transforming the standard stethoscope into an intelligent diagnostic tool brings advanced cardiac insights to settings that may not have immediate access to specialists or diagnostic equipment,” explains CEO Connor Landgraf. “This approach reinforces broader goals in healthcare, including the expansion of preventive care, the reduction of disparities and the advancement of sustainable innovation across the system.”
