EquipmentShare builds and powers connected jobsites through an integrated platform of rental equipment, telematics hardware, and jobsite software. At the heart of its offering is T3, a proprietary, cloud-based operating system for construction that combines fleet tracking, machine diagnostics, access control, project cost reporting, and scheduling. Contractors use T3 alongside GPS trackers, dash cams, Bluetooth tags, and keypad access hardware to monitor everything from equipment health to worker safety. The platform connects more than 270,000 assets across the field and back office, giving operators a real-time picture of equipment usage, materials flow, and labor coordination.

The business model combines equipment rental and ownership with recurring software and data subscriptions, creating a hybrid Hardware-as-a-Service (HaaS) model tailored to the jobsite. Contractors can rent construction machinery, purchase GPS-equipped units outright, or retrofit their existing fleets with T3-compatible hardware. T3 software licenses are then layered on top as a SaaS subscription, unlocking real-time insights and automated workflows. This approach enables EquipmentShare to serve contractors regardless of fleet size or OEM preference while ensuring that every machine—whether rented, owned, or third-party—is part of the same connected ecosystem. Support, diagnostics, and updates are delivered remotely, reducing downtime and maximizing return on investment.
