Friendly Robots builds compact, LiDAR-guided floor-cleaning robots designed to autonomously vacuum carpets and, optionally, deliver UV-C sanitization to reduce pathogen load in public spaces. The robots clean at a rate of ~4,500 ft²/hour and are engineered for commercial environments such as offices, hotels, government buildings, and schools. Their autonomous navigation is powered by onboard SLAM, enabling precise coverage without manual intervention, and the system continuously learns and adapts to evolving floorplans. Beyond basic cleaning, Friendly’s solution contributes to healthier indoor environments by reducing airborne particulates and VOCs, while relieving facilities teams of repetitive, injury-prone labor.

The company offers a fully managed Robots-as-a-Service (RaaS) model, allowing customers to subscribe monthly instead of purchasing equipment outright. Each subscription includes not just the robot, but also initial facility mapping, custom deployment, ongoing software updates, and lifetime hardware maintenance—including repairs and replacements. Friendly also handles route optimization and remote diagnostics, ensuring uninterrupted service. This model turns floor cleaning into an OPEX-friendly utility service: no upfront capex, no maintenance surprises, and no need to train in-house staff.
