Company overview

SoftBank Robotics America (SBRA) provides enterprise-scale robotic cleaning solutions built on a portfolio of partner-manufactured robots such as the Whiz autonomous vacuum (Brain Corp), the Scrubber 50 Pro and Vac 40 (Gausium), and the Phantas all-in-one floor cleaner, integrated into a unified operational program. Rather than manufacturing its own hardware, SBRA curates and deploys multi-OEM robots that use LiDAR, 3D cameras, and adaptive navigation to automate sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and scrubbing across hotels, office towers, airports, senior living communities, and other high-traffic environments. These robots are connected through SoftBank Robotics Connect, a cloud platform that aggregates fleet data across brands and models, giving facilities teams real-time visibility into coverage, runtime, quality metrics, and proof-of-performance for SOP adherence.

SBRA operates a hybrid CapEx + service-subscription model. Customers purchase robots upfront at a competitive entry price, then subscribe to SBRA’s service program, which includes onboarding, site assessment and mapping, staff training, ongoing change-management support, remote analytics, KPI reporting, operational reviews, and access to SoftBank Robotics Connect. The subscription also includes SBRA’s hallmark no-cost swap program, in which failed robots are replaced immediately to maintain uptime without extra fees. Consumables and accessories are purchased separately through SBRA’s online store, and optional charging docks or autonomous add-ons can be integrated into the deployment. This structure allows customers to own the hardware while relying on SBRA for software, analytics, and the high-touch support required for successful multi-facility automation.
